[ Situation ]

The user experience at electric charging stations is not yet widespread. The technology and charging methods for electric vehicles are evolving daily, and users need to adapt to these new approaches. In this post, we will explore the user experience of the next stage in electric vehicle charging, which is expected to be wireless charging, replacing the current plug-in nozzle method.

[ User Scenario ]

  1. The user arrives at the parking lot and searches for the wireless charging zone.
  2. The user parks the car and turns off the engine.
  3. The user exits the car and walks to the charging kiosk.
  4. At the charging kiosk, user registers the car number and checks the estimated charging time.
  5. The user chooses between regular charging and fast charging.
  6. The user registers their phone number and makes a payment.
  7. The user goes to have a coffee.
  8. The user receives a SMS notification about any errors or when the charging is complete.
